London International Disputes Week 2025 – 2-6 June 2025
Many of the Court’s judges will be participating in panels at LIDW 2025. At present this includes:
- Mrs Justice Cockerill will give a keynote speech on “Challenging Sovereignty: arbitrations against States and State owned entities” on International Arbitration Day (2 June 2025)
- Mr Justice Henshaw will take part in a discussion on supply chain disputes from 2.55-3.30pm on 3 June
- Mr Justice Robin Knowles CBE will participate in a session entitled “Arbitration and Insolvency; whose Insurgency?” between 9-10.30am on 4 June at Freeths LLP, 1 Vine Street, London W1J 0AH
- Mr Justice Foxton will participate in “The rise of International Commercial Courts: what it means for the Rule of Law, English lawyers, and the standing of English law worldwide” at Baker & McKenzie on 4 June from 11am-12.30pm
- Mr Justice Waksman will speak at a session entitled “The 3 As: Africa, Arbitration and AI” from 5-6.30pm on 4 June at Inner Temple, London EC4Y 7HL
- Mr Justice Waksman will speak at a session entitled “Improving Settlement in International Mediation (and avoiding enforcement issues)” from 9-10.30am on 5 June at 100 St. Paul’s Churchyard, EC4M 8BU
- Mr Justice Foxton will participate in Seat Wars: A New Hope – Can London win over Asian parties against the rising tide of Asian seats? at 39 Essex Chambers on 5 June from 4-5.30pm
- Mr Justice Waksman will participate in a panel entitled “Foreseeing the Unforeseeable: how to manage an AI dispute” between 4-5.30pm on 5 June at CMS LLP, Cannon Place, 78 Cannon Street, London EC4N 6AF
- Mr Justice Foxton will participate in, and Mr Justice Waksman will speak at, a session entitled “The Business and Property Courts in Action: Innovating Dispute Resolution Amid Global Risks “on 5 June at the Rolls Building from 6-7.30pm.
