London International Disputes Week 2025 – June 2025

Many of the Court’s judges will be participating in panels at LIDW 2025. At present this includes:

  • Mrs Justice Cockerill will give a keynote speech on “Challenging Sovereignty: arbitrations against States and State owned entities” on International Arbitration Day (2 June 2025)
  • Mr Justice Henshaw will take part in a discussion on supply chain disputes from 2.55-3.30pm on 3 June
  • Mr Justice Robin Knowles CBE will participate in a session entitled “Arbitration and Insolvency; whose Insurgency?” between 9-10.30am
  • Mr Justice Waksman will participate in a panel entitled “Foreseeing the Unforeseeable: how to manage an AI dispute” at CMS LLP between 4-5pm
  • Mr Justice Waksman will speak at a session entitled “The Business and Property Courts in Action: Innovating Dispute Resolution Amid Global Risks” at the Rolls Building  at 6-7pm on 5 June.

Commercial Court Seminar: 8 May 2025

This year’s Commercial Court seminar is being held on 8 May 2025 on the subject of “Equity in Commercial Law”. The event will take place at the Ashworth Centre, Lincoln’s Inn and begin at 5.45pm.

Lord Sales will chair a panel which will feature presentations from Mr Justice Henshaw, the Judge in Charge of the Commercial Court; Professor Graham Virgo, Professor of English Private Law at the University of Cambridge, and Catherine Addy KC of Maitland Chambers.
