November 2022:

The Chancellor (and Supervising Lord Justice of the Commercial Court) Sir Julian Flaux  will be delivering the COMBAR Annual Lecture 2022 on Wednesday 16 November at 5.30pm, Gray’s Inn Hall on the subject of “Is commercial litigation going green? Mr Justice Waksman and Andrew Grantham KC will be speaking in Manchester on the subject of “Loss of a Chance: its proper scope and application” on 25 November. The event is promoted by the commercial group of the Manchester BPC Forum. It will take place in the early evening and the exact time and venue will be provided shortly.


Mrs Justice Cockerill will be chairing a UCL Current Legal Problems lecture by Professor Sarah Green on the topic: “Tie for a Tertium Quid”. Further details of her CLP lecture can be found on the UCL website.

The Commercial Court will be holding a seminar on “the Commercial Court and the Law of Unjust Enrichment” on 27 March 2023. The seminar will be chaired by Lord Burrows JSC, and feature contributions from Mr Justice Baker, Professor Birke Häcker and Simon Salzedo KC. Further details will be announced in the New Year.
