Employment Tribunals (E&W) ‘How To’ videos
I am pleased to be able to launch a series of ‘How To’ videos that are now live at this link. They have been written and recorded by a committee of Employment Judges. The plan in creating these videos was two-fold. First, to try to increase access to justice by explaining our procedures and some of the more complex areas of employment law in a way that is easily understandable, especially to parties without legal representation. That serves justice and supports the rule of law in the workplace. Second, to help litigants to be more focused in their claims and responses and in their communications with the tribunal, thereby reducing some of the time spent in case management before cases are ready for hearing. This is the start of the project, not the end. We hope to create more of these videos over time. For obvious reasons, public comments on the videos have been disabled.
