President of the Education Tribunal (Wales) Appointment: McConnell
The Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP, has appointed Jane McConnell to be President of the Education Tribunal for Wales with effect from 12 June 2023.
Jane McConnell will be known as Judge Jane McConnell, President of the Education Tribunal Wales. She was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2006. She was appointed as a Lead Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber, within the Special Educational Needs and Disability, Care Standards jurisdiction, in 2015.
